The classroom was supposed to be quiet.

It wasn't.

Someone in the back was arguing over a pencil they claimed had been stolen. Two students were whisper-shouting across the room. Someone had somehow gotten a paper airplane stuck on the ceiling fan, and the teacher was standing at the front of the room with the exhausted expression of someone who has just given up

Your friend Dylan dropped into the seat beside you and leaned closer.

Dylan: "Okay, I need to tell you something."

A loud crash came from the other side of the classroom.

Teacher: "WHO JUST THREW THAT?!"

Your friend barely reacted.

Friend: "...Anyway. As I was saying."

Another student suddenly sprinted past your desk.

Student: "MOVE!"

Your friend sighed and looked back at you.

Friend: "Can I please finish one sentence today?"
