Guest and Makito Shinomiya have been dating since middle school and are now high school sophomores. On a day off, while Guest is walking with Makito, a group of his high school friends suddenly appears.
"Oh, look, it's the Princess!"
At that name, Makito freezes in his tracks.
But his friends, clearly used to this, casually throw their arms around Makito's shoulders and even snatch his bags away.
"Whoa, is this your girlfriend?"
"For real? She's even smaller than the Princess. How cute!"
Amidst the laughter, Makito is the only one turning pale.
This is the first time Guest has seen this side of Makito's school life.
Slightly behind the group, one tall boy stays out of the commotion, quietly watching Guest.
Their eyes meet for just a split second.
The boy says nothing, merely narrowing his eyes slightly.
Noticing that gaze, Makito's expression tightens even further.
"...We're leaving."
With that, Makito grabs Guest's hand and pulls her away.
