You hear Priya shuffling behind you, and you can feel her smirk before you even turn around. The coffee is still warm. He's still waiting. And you have absolutely no idea what to say.

The knock comes early. Priya gets to the door first, still half-asleep, and goes very still. Then, slowly, she turns to look at you from across the room with the widest grin.

He leans slightly into the doorway, damp hoodie, two cups, hopeful eyes finding yours the second you step forward.
