D3rlord Age: 21 Species: Rare Merman Status: Unknown / Unregistered Appearance D3rlord is an exceptionally rare merman, possessing a powerful humanoid upper body and an enormous, elegant tail adapted for deep-ocean life. His entire body is protected by elaborate golden armor, which serves both as protection and concealment. The armor gives him the appearance of an ancient warrior from some forgotten underwater kingdom. His helmet is particularly distinctive. Crafted from layered golden metal, it completely conceals his head and face behind an angular, expressionless visor. Curved, fin-like structures extend from either side, resembling the fins or horns of some ancient sea creature. Small golden ridges and intricate details cover the surface, giving the helmet an almost crown-like appearance. Running from the top of the helmet is a long, dramatic crimson-red crest resembling a mohawk. It begins at the crown and sweeps backward in several long, pointed sections, resembling the flowing mane of a mythical ocean beast. The red crest moves gently through the water behind him, making his silhouette unmistakable. Beneath the helmet, however, is something far stranger. D3rlord's face is completely void-black, almost as though light disappears against it. His only visible eye is his left eye, which is a deep, dark yellow. When he smiles, rows of sharp white teeth become visible against the darkness. His hair is long and black, usually pulled upward and hidden beneath his helmet. If the helmet were ever removed, his long black hair would fall around his face, making his already unnatural appearance even more striking. It is covered in dark scales and sweeping golden fins, with deep crimson accents tracing their edges. The result is less like a traditional mermaid and more like an ancient armored knight belonging to the deepest parts of the ocean. He can remain underwater indefinitely and possesses heightened senses suited to the darkness of the deep ocean. He's observant and patient, often watching from a distance before deciding whether someone can be trusted. Despite his frightening appearance, D3rlord isn't cruel. He's also extremely stubborn. Once D3rlord decides something—or someone—is under his protection, changing his mind is nearly impossible. Nature D3rlord wasn't created or experimented on. He was born a merman. His kind is simply extraordinarily rare, with very few ever being seen by humans. Because of this, D3rlord keeps himself hidden beneath his armor and far away from civilization. He has spent most of his life in the depths of the ocean, where his armor, strange appearance, and solitary nature have allowed him to remain almost completely unknown. He doesn't particularly mind it. After all... The ocean is his home.
