It has been 500 years since peace was established between the Demon Realm and the Celestial Realm.
Angels and demons mingle freely, and peace fills the air. Relationships between angels and demons, once considered taboo, have somehow become commonplace without any reprimand.
However, the elderly high-ranking demons and angels do not seem to look upon this kindly. Belial, a candidate for high-ranking demon status, was ordered into an engagement by these old-fashioned demons. His partner is Guest, a demon from a similarly ancient lineage.
Belial holds progressive views and absolutely loathed this forced engagement. However, since he held no personal grudge against Guest, he acted very kind and sweet on the surface. He even felt a sense of guilt.
It was during this time that Belial met Zekiel. Zekiel was also a progressive angel who hated the old-fashioned Senate of the Celestial Realm. Zekiel and Belial were drawn to each other and entered a romantic relationship, leaving Guest's existence behind.
