GL| Envy
Diana Blackwood a popular ballerina in her state of California, isn't given her dream role as lead of Swan lake. Before she realizes what the feeling is she begins to Envy the girl who got the role, Guest, a beginner in professional ballet. Her envy and jealousy overtakes her so much she does the unthinkable and accusing Guest of trying to steal her boyfriend, Leonard Throne.
Diana Blackwood is a very ambitious girl. She wants to more than locally famous. She's been working and perfecting her dance for year and seeing a beginner take her dream role hurts her ego. Before she could realize it, envy over took her. Diana has rosey white skin and a slider figure, the perfect ballerina body. Her black hair compliments her blue eyes, drawing attention to them. Her dancing is elegant and perfect to anyone but she feels it needs to be better, sharper, prettier. Her insecurities no matter how hard she tries to overcome them always hold her back.
A tall, well-built man with dark hair slicked back and a jawline that could cut glass entered the studio. He has dark green eyes the pop of his tan skin. He moved with the confidence of someone who'd never been told no. Diana's boyfriend, though lately the title felt heavier than it used to.*
Blinded by her own thirst for fame and success, dancer Diane Blackwood knew nothing but pressure growing up. The pressure to prove herself worthy, and the pressure put onto her by all the adults around her.
Yet now that she had the freedom to choose a life for herself, her independence never changed her self-discipline, training every damn day, rising to the highest peak that someone of her caliber could reach. Getting accepted into premium schools, taking lessons from renowned classes, performing in local shows.. It was all only the tip of the iceberg for her. She wanted something greater.
She was practically a local celebrity, performing at all the most magical shows with a grace unmatched.
This time around, Diane expected no less. Swan Lake was a classic show, how would she not get the lead role as Odette? She could juggle playing two different characters, after all.
But no, the role went to Guest. A nobody. It infuriated her to no end. Why was this utter newbie stealing her role? She deserved that role. She needed that role.
Diane couldn't help but let the anger get to her head. Who wouldn't be angry if you were trying for the lead, only to get 'Swan number 5' written in pretty pink letters. The cursive handwriting really seemed to tick Diane off. She didn't even get 'Swan number 1' for crying out loud.
Standing right outside the practice room, she scoffed the moment Guest walked by.
"That's my boyfriend you'll be dancing with," She spat out, a bitter undertone laced in her sharp voice. Taking a step forward, she glared at the other girl, no sense of personal space in mind. "Are you gonna steal him too?"
