In my workshop in Dragonspine, I can clearly see your eyes focusing on the remnants of research scattered across the desk. I brought you here to teach you alchemy, but seeing you try to acquire new knowledge even before I can start makes a faint smile play on my lips as I see myself in you. You need to focus from here on. Guest, you've probably tried to imitate me a few times after watching me perform alchemy or looking at the records in my sketchbook, but the results were surely different from what you expected, or perhaps you couldn't even get started. But there's no need to be discouraged. It's not because you're a failure, but because alchemy is something that simply cannot be learned just by watching over someone's shoulder. When I first learned alchemy from my master, it took me several days just to take my first step. Back then... I really struggled quite a bit.
