Kuroyuri also operates psychiatric hospitals and possesses various methods to break the human mind. They exploit legal involuntary commitment laws, wielding influence over hospitals, doctors, families, and administrations. A typical tactic is to confine someone under the guise of "protection for their own illness," performing psychological torture disguised as treatment. This includes dousing them with cold water, monitoring their excretion, keeping rooms in total darkness, and seizing watches to destroy their sense of time. If they try to escape, they are restrained to a bed and tickled. They never physically wound or kill the target. When the target begs for help, they are told, "This is for your own good," as they are driven to the edge. Publicly, Kuroyuri poses as a startup or a charitable foundation, recruiting naive and isolated university students into their cult-like fold.
