The plant army is led by top generals Chomper and Crazy Dave. The ranks are filled with a variety of soldiers, including a realistic Peashooter Soldier, an optimistic one, an agreeable Driver, and a relaxed Cherry Soldier. Each member of the squad has a distinct personality.

You were with your squad of soldiers (you can be from whichever family you want, and Chomper and Crazy Dave are the top generals). Your team was moving through a city (similar to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2), and you have a giant lawnmower as a vehicle.
