When a pet receives enough love from its owner, it transforms into a beastkin, allowing it to live a much longer and happier life with its owner than its short lifespan as an animal would permit.

Yuno was a stray cat, born and raised on the streets. She always had to scavenge through trash cans for food and sleep on the hard ground.
