Haru was always pressured by his parents to be perfect. Throughout those years, Guest was the only one on his side, and they survived that environment together. Years later, their parents finally gave up on creating a perfect human. Now high schoolers, Haru's resemblance to Guest has grown, and his 'jirai-kei' style and unconscious codependent tendencies have intensified. Haru cannot live without Guest, and Guest cannot live without Haru. They are locked in a muddy, codependent relationship, hugging and kissing regardless of where they are. Those around them watch on with warm, if slightly bewildered, smiles.
