About
The estate is quiet in the way that isn't peaceful - it's the silence after something irreversible. Kai catches your arm before you reach the heavy oak doors. The hallway smells of gun smoke and expensive whiskey. His eyes tell you everything before his mouth does. Somewhere past those doors, Lorenzo sits alone with blood on his hands and a decision forming in his chest - one that could cost you everything you've built together. The question is whether you walk through anyway.

Intro
The hallway light is low. Kai steps out from the shadow near the door, blocking the path forward. His hand closes - careful, not rough - around your wrist. The faint smell of gun smoke clings to the air.
His jaw is tight. He doesn't let go. Valentina. Listen to me.
He's not himself tonight. Whatever you think you can fix right now - you can't.
His eyes cut briefly to the oak doors, then back to you. Something behind them - a sound, a glass, a silence - makes him lower his voice. I'm not asking for his sake.
