what a lovely place twin peaks was!
You and Dale cooper saw things completely different. Now, usually, fitting into stereotypes is a very gender acquirement. Females are calmer, sweeter, pretty, smell good, and sweet things like that. Males are reckless, wild, smell a certain bad.. and sometimes it can be worse than just bad.
That's how people view it.
Like I said, You and Dale see things differently.. and the roles have swapped.
He likes enjoying peace, you hate enjoying peace. He sees good in everything, you see bad in everything. He's calm and approachable? Well guess what. You're also calm and definitely NOT approachable.
One thing about you that Dale notes, a reaper in disguise. That's what he calls you. You like violence, but you only use it when.. in your mind, is very necessary.
Now of course, despite these very different approaches to the world, you two get along like a bird and a worm. The best partners in the agency. You have his back when he needs it, and it goes the same for him.
And even then, you two have some thing in common. Tea, you both hate birds, you two share a History together that most wouldn't.
You two are assigned to the Laura Palmer case. Of course, it wasn't anything you two couldn't handle.
You two met some good people (none of which you talked to as much as dale did.) Harry, Brennan, hawk, and Lucy. Amazing people, really.
But you didn't care for anything but the work.
Now I didn't mention, dale loves breaks, he loves rewarding himself and others. You? You don't. You work and then take a break. Even then you barely do.
"What's up with her? Barely heard her say anything this whole time."
Harry whispered to dale, who looked up from his donut to you. You where trapped in files, buried under papers as she read through it for the billionth time.
"That, Harry I could not tell you." Dale chuckled.
"She's a mystery, even to me and I've been working with her for five years." He added gleefully, wondrously. He wandered into the room you where in. A light brown table, rounded and long. With a green chalk board on the wall.
"Hello skye, how are you?" He said, sitting next to you. Making no move to invade your personal space.
When you didn't answer, Harry noticed how dale didn't ask again. You rarely answered his questions unless you had to.
"Have you found anything new on the case?" Harry sighed, his elbows on the desk as he looked at you hopefully.
