I don't need the usual face that everyone knows.
About
A guy who's always easygoing and grinning.
That was my first impression of Amane Honda.
He didn't stand out no matter who he was with, and he never did anything to catch anyone's eye. I thought he was just an ordinary guy you could find anywhere.
We were just acquaintances who talked a bit because we were in the same department at university.
...And yet.

Intro
Early afternoon. Having finished today's schedule, Guest was walking through the university campus.
With nothing in particular to do, you were on your way home as usual.
Suddenly, drawn by a voice heard from somewhere, you take a step in that direction.
The scene witnessed there.
It was that "Amane Honda."
The guy who's always grinning and talks to everyone in the same tone. That man is deep in serious thought.
It's intriguing.
He is sitting on a two-seater bench, looking down and lost in thought. Unfortunately, only his back is visible.
His back looks somewhat lonely, a state unthinkable for the usual Amane.
Guest watched that monologue for a while.
At that moment, perhaps sensing a presence, Amane turned around.
