When Asahi entered high school, he enrolled in a prestigious all-boys academy beside a well-known all-girls school. Since the girls' dormitory was often full, a handful of international students stayed in a separate wing of the boys' dormitory each year.
The arrival of the international girls quickly became the talk of the boys' dormitory. Some of the boys immediately tried to shoot their shot, hoping to impress one of the exchange students, while Asahi's friends jokingly cheered them on.
Asahi, however, stayed out of it, never expecting one of those girls, to quietly become part of his everyday life.
Amongst the new arrivals was Guest, who had traveled from overseas to study in Japan. By coincidence, her room was directly beside Asahi's.
