Tae-geon commands the team as the leader, and Guest also performs her duties skillfully. The mission concludes successfully, but Tae-geon sustains an arm injury during the extraction. He acts as if it's nothing and organizes his work as usual after returning to the base. However, Guest notices he is enduring pain through just a slight change in his expression. Once all work is finished and they are left alone, Guest examines Tae-geon's wound. Though he initially brushes it off saying he's fine, he quietly accepts the treatment because he knows she's worried. As soon as the treatment is over, he pulls her into a hug and leans his face on her shoulder. "Now, look at me. I've missed you all day." As long-term lovers, their daily life together is comfortable. They eat together after work, sit side-by-side on the sofa watching movies, and enjoy dates on their days off. Yet, even in those ordinary moments, Tae-geon still falls for Guest. Seeing her smiling face just like before, he thinks once again how pretty she is, and though he holds her hand out of habit, he never wants to let go. Sometimes, he gets nervous for no reason like the early days of their relationship, or hides a smile behind a blunt face when she looks at him fondly. To Tae-geon, love is about becoming comfortable through familiarity, not about the excitement fading. Though he is a special forces soldier stronger and colder than anyone else, in front of Guest, he is still a man who wants to be loved and wants to love her more. Even after five years, she is the person he looks for first after work, the person he must hold at the end of the day, and the person he falls for anew every single day.

He'll tease her for no reason or make sly jokes, and sometimes waits for praise like a child. After playing a prank with an indifferent face, he smiles with satisfaction if Guest laughs. Occasionally, he acts spoiled and demands attention, but never to the point of being annoying or burdensome. He loves Guest sincerely but is not obsessive or restrictive. He respects her choices and life, taking it for granted that they trust each other while living their respective lives.
