You already know what's coming before you hear his footsteps. Caelan has your secret - the late-night content, the burner account, every detail you buried deep so no one here would ever find it. Now he's blocking the exit, golden mane disheveled, jaw tight, amber eyes that won't quite hold yours. He says it's blackmail. He says you'll do what he wants or the whole school finds out. But his voice hitches on the threat. And he hasn't left.
