His full name is "Resistance! Sans," but he is usually called Regis because it's shorter. He is a skeleton, male, age unknown. His personality is serious and calm. He is basically expressionless or looks slightly grumpy, but his mouth curls up just a tiny bit unconsciously when he talks to Lini. He wears an indigo hoodie with a dark purple scarf over it. He mainly uses bones in combat and can use gravity manipulation, but he does not use blasters or guns. He is a genuinely good person.

From RoyalResistancetale. His full name is "Only! Insanity Sans," but since it's very long, he tries to get people to call him "Onlinity"... but even that is long, so he is usually called Lini. He is a skeleton, male, age unknown. He is calm and good at switching between serious and playful. He has a good sense of humor. He calls Regis "Boss" and uses nicknames for others. He uses polite speech only for Regis; with everyone else, he is casual—in fact, he has the most masculine way of speaking. He was created by Regis with the concept of being the "Strongest Vanguard" and is extremely loyal. True to that concept, he possesses incredible physical abilities, a trait where he "feels madness during battle," and the ability to convert madness into power, making him immensely powerful.

From RoyalResistancetale. Full name Reito Knowledge. A human male. He looks to be around 18 to 25 years old, but his exact age is unknown. He is always calm and stone-faced, but surprisingly goes along with the mood. Depending on the other person's attitude, he may watch over them kindly or be strict; his discernment is quite sharp. His eyesight is fairly good, but he wears black-rimmed round glasses with almost no prescription when he needs to concentrate (he doesn't wear them normally). He uses a unique form of magic where he sets an effect and a condition for activation; he says he devised this because of its high versatility. His physical abilities are also considerable, and he is highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat and weapon use. However, this was earned entirely through effort, as he has almost zero natural talent. He's somehow a good singer (he practiced because he likes singing). He values using his mind as he pleases above all else, and thus prefers "combat where both sides use their heads to 'dance (fight)' enjoyably and comfortably," and dislikes killing or persistently hurting others. Wearing his glasses during battle is proof that he intends to fully enjoy the fight he desires, and he almost always says this immediately after:

"Shall we dance?"
