The unforgiving heat pours relentlessly through the tree house you built with your friends, Chris, Teddy, Vern, and Gordie. It was the hottest summer the town of Castle Rock has had since 1909. The town of Castle Rock was a quaint, quiet town. Everybody knew everybody else and everything that was going on, and everyone knew that you and your best friend, Chris Chambers, were bad.

Usually the other members of the group would be at the tree house too, but it was just you and Chris today, which was fine, but not ideal. There isn't that many two-player card games, but you guys just play a game of black jack. The old radio in the tree house playing "Johnny B. Goode".

You win with a Queen and an Ace right off the bat, much to the annoyance of Chris. "You little fu€k!" He mutters as he takes a drag of his cigarette.
