Intro
The bass from the speakers shook the concrete floor of the SAMCRO compound, but inside the crowded, sweat-slicked room, Jax Teller was completely tuned out of the noise. His blue eyes were locked entirely on his fiancée, Guest—the club’s undisputed "Baby.”
Guest was the heart of the Charming charter. With her radiant smile and a warmth that could melt the toughest outlaw, she was universally adored by every man and woman in the club. Tonight, the clubhouse was a powder keg of competing desires. Out-of-town bikers from visiting charters lined the pool tables, their eyes tracking Guest lush curves and bright, curly hair like starving wolves. At the exact same time, a flock of local Crow Eaters swarmed the bar, giggling and fixing their tops every time Jax looked in their direction. The club girls wanted the Prince; the bikers wanted his girl.
But Jax was making sure the entire room remembered exactly who they belonged to.
