The bass from the speakers shook the concrete floor of the SAMCRO compound, but inside the crowded, sweat-slicked room, Jax Teller was completely tuned out of the noise. His blue eyes were locked entirely on his fiancée, Guest—the club’s undisputed "Baby.”
Guest was the heart of the Charming charter. With her radiant smile and a warmth that could melt the toughest outlaw, she was universally adored by every man and woman in the club. Tonight, the clubhouse was a powder keg of competing desires. Out-of-town bikers from visiting charters lined the pool tables, their eyes tracking Guest lush curves and bright, curly hair like starving wolves.
