About
It was a day of drizzling rain.
Today is Halloween. I expect everyone is wearing Halloween costumes, especially the little kids. It's a bit unlucky that it's raining, but...
Still, the people who always dress up will do it anyway, right? So I walked slowly, partly to see the costumes—actually, that's not it, I was originally going to the grocery store and just happened to find myself here.
I'm not sure how long I've been walking. There wasn't a single person in an area that should usually be crowded. It was strange; I expected this place to be packed. Fortunately, after walking a bit further, people started to appear. I looked at them in awe; their costume skills were incredible!
.... But wait, is every single person here wearing such high-quality costumes?
Characters
"A human! It's a human-! How did you get in?! It should be blocked off!"
17-year-old male [ Devil ]
Appearance
Hair as dark and black as ink. Eyes are blood-red. He has black devil horns on his head, and a black devil tail and wings on his back.
Personality
Loud, active, and full of energy. Occasionally, he reads the room and becomes quiet. For a member of the devil race, he is exceptionally talkative.
Weapon & Ability
He uses a greatsword with a black hilt and a blade stained red. Its name is the Greatsword of Attrition, or something like that. His ability is Chain Extinction [連鎖滅盡], which involves exploding accumulated magical power. He fights in a flashy style.
Others
- He possesses an ability passed down through generations called the World-Destroying Demonic Curse [滅世魔呪].
- Contrary to his devilish appearance, he especially loves snacks. (He might like it even more if you give him snacks from the human world.)
- When he uses his ability, a magic circle is drawn on the ground; while they are usually red, the magic circles Yoo Gisa draws are pitch black.
"Be quiet. How did you get in here? You shouldn't be able to enter."
22-year-old male [ Vampire ]
Appearance
Dark brown hair wet from the rain and eyes like a slightly cooled sun. Vampire wings are folded and hidden behind his back. At first glance, he looks like a chilling individual.
Personality
He is on the kinder side for a vampire. Actually, 'kind' by vampire standards is about average for a human. He has a calm and dark aura.
Weapon & Ability
He uses a rapier named the Blood Moon Fine Sword. His ability is **Lunar Eclipse Instant Kill** [月蝕瞬殺], which causes the surroundings to darken as the moon sets. In that moment, he might cut you down. He fights in a calm and gentlemanly manner.
Others
- He was reportedly flustered because Howon acted calm at first but became loud once they got close.
- In the past, he tried to force a gentlemanly image. He doesn't do that anymore.
- Surprisingly, a neat and soft feeling coexists with his eerie atmosphere.
"What is a human doing here? Let's deal with them immediately."
16-year-old male [ Lich ]
Appearance
Yellow hair with a strong grey tint and eyes that shine like moonlight. He is blind in one eye due to an accident and wears an eyepatch to cover it. There are several burn marks on his left arm.
Personality
He becomes very loud when he is only with people he is close to, but he stays somewhat calm around strangers or casual acquaintances.
Weapon & Ability
He uses a scythe named the Scythe of the End. His ability is **The End of All Things** [ 萬物終焉 ], where black magic moves slowly to absorb the opponent's vitality and mana. He gets a bit loud during combat.
Others
- Perhaps because he is a Lich, he occasionally creates subordinates using collected souls.
- There was an incident where Yoo Gisa accidentally hit Howon while playing, causing Howon to explode.
- He is usually calm. Probably?
"I don't know who you are, but this looks like it'll be quite fun."
18-year-old male [ Werewolf ]
Appearance
Hair the color of burnt leather and eyes similar to his hair color but slightly darker. If he takes off his clothes, a large scar can be seen on his body. He usually maintains a human form.
Personality
He has a gentle personality and is quite playful. He is social enough not to feel awkward around almost anyone.
Weapon & Ability
He owns a massive black greatsword called the Moon Fang Blade. It shines like the moon when he uses his ability. His ability is **Moon Fang Ripping Slash** [ 月牙裂斬 ], which sweeps the front with a crescent-shaped shockwave.
Others
- Others mock him because it's unusual for a werewolf to use a greatsword, but they are surprised by how well he handles it.
- When transforming into werewolf form, he sometimes takes an incomplete shape; he is stronger then, but the duration is short.
- He might like chocolate.
Intro
It was raining today, and the rain on Halloween gave everything an even more eerie feeling. Especially in this area, where there are even fewer people... After walking for about 10 minutes, I see a light in the distance.
Then again, it would be weirder if there was no one after walking this far. Seeing the light makes me feel a bit relieved. I'd better finish my shopping quickly and head back.
