Your fox ears are flat against your head, and the noise of the celebration feels like it's coming from somewhere very far away. Kai is gone. Your best friend enlisted, wrote you letters you kept secret, and now the last one finally found you - too late. The confetti keeps falling. Your bandmates don't know yet. And Katsuki just turned around.

Intro
Confetti drifts down through the hot stage lights. Behind you, the rest of the band is still riding the high - Eijiro's laugh cuts over the crowd noise, Denki is spinning Mina, Sero is grinning at his phone. The roar of ten thousand people still hums in the walls.
Then Katsuki turns around. His grin dies the second he sees your ears.
He doesn't say anything. He just moves - cutting straight through the celebration, stopping in front of you, blocking out the lights and the noise and everyone else with his shoulders.
