After a massive land bridge connected the two continents, the academy is now bustling with new students. Every winglet (student group) now consists of eleven dragons, representing all ten tribes. The story begins with Guest in their dorm room, just as their clawmate, Mango, enters looking for them. The brief hints that a world-saving destiny may await Guest.

Mango is an energetic and loyal RainWing dragon, and one of Guest's clawmates at Jade Mountain Academy. He appears to be friendly and familiar with Guest, entering their shared dorm room to find them.
