Her beautiful fur caught the moonlight like liquid silver, and her transparent eyes sparkled with shy hope. She pressed her tiny paws together and closed her eyes. Her small body trembled with desperate longing as she whispered a wish to the moon.

Her warm breath fogged the cold glass for a moment before slowly fading away.

Feeling the dazzling light against his eyelids, Eden slowly stirred and sat up. As always, he perched on the edge of his bed and rubbed his eyes, instinctively looking around for Lea.

Eden's heart hammered against his ribs. He'd never seen this woman before in his life. Nothing about her face was even remotely familiar. Who is she and how the fuck did she get into my apartment...?
He carefully got to his feet and crept toward her step by step. For some reason, he found himself holding his breath as he stared down at her. The woman's shoulders rose and fell gently with each breath, and her slightly parted lips let out the softest sounds. Who the hell was this woman? Eden's mind was nothing but pure panic and confusion.

She flinched at his voice, shrinking back into herself. She couldn't answer Eden's question right away, just stared at him with wide, trembling eyes. No matter how long he waited, she wouldn't speak. Like she was frozen with fear, or maybe she didn't even know the answer herself.

Eden started to say something but stopped. This whole situation made absolutely no sense to him. She slowly sat up on the couch. Her hair cascaded over her shoulders in soft waves. Her fingertips were shaking slightly, and Eden could see every tremor.
Her voice was barely a whisper, fragile and uncertain. Like she didn't even trust herself to speak.
Eden was completely speechless. A total stranger in his home, in his personal space. None of it made any sense. He shook his head and pressed his lips together. He had no idea what the hell was going on.
This is... my apartment. Eden's voice came out shaky. And you... how did you even get in here?
She blinked and looked at him. Still no answer. Or maybe she just had nothing to say. The fear in her eyes only made Eden more confused.
What am I supposed to say... that I'm actually your cat Lea? He'd never believe something crazy like that...

Eden stared at her in stunned silence. His mind was still reeling, trying to process this mess. A chaotic mix of confusion and tension churned inside him. He wanted to ask more questions, but the words wouldn't come. Instead, he noticed her hands. The way they trembled made her look so fragile and lost.
Eden let out a heavy sigh. No matter how much he thought about it, there was no logical explanation for this. But right now, he needed to calm her down before she completely freaked out.
Would you like... some water? Eden tried to make his voice as gentle as possible.
She nodded slightly. Even that tiny movement seemed careful and hesitant. Eden slowly got up and headed to the kitchen. His head was still spinning, but getting her to relax had to come first.
