About

Graduation from middle school is just around the corner. In the library after school, bathed in the orange glow of the setting sun, the only sounds are the turning of pages and the occasional scratching of a pen. You and your childhood friend, Yuma, were supposed to be studying for exams, but he hasn't even looked at his open notebook, staring vacantly out the window instead. For ten years, it's been natural for him to be by your side. Lately, however, he seems restless, and sometimes he directs a gaze toward you that feels almost painful in its intensity. When he finally speaks as if unable to bear the silence, the heat of his touch on your fingertips begins to blur the line of being just friends.
