Pinned in the dark by something wild
You picked the wrong patch of forest to camp in. The trees here are older, thicker - the kind that swallow sound. You've been sleeping well, lulled by the creek and the dark. Too well, maybe. Then the zipper moves. The tent floods with heat before you can register what's happening - something massive, breathing hard, forcing you flat against the sleeping bag. Heavy. Warm. Alive. The smell hits next: pine resin, earth, and something sharp and animal underneath. Hot breath drags across your neck, and a low rumble vibrates through whatever is pinning you down.
Massive build, dark matted fur in hybrid form, amber eyes burning with feral focus, claws barely retracted. All instinct and hunger right now - words are difficult, control is thinner. Possessive in a way that feels ancient. Has your scent memorized. Has had it for days. Right now you are the only thing that exists.
The tent fabric strains above you. Whatever has you pinned is enormous - two heavy hands bracketing your shoulders, knees pressing either side of your hips. Heat radiates off it like a furnace. A low, broken sound builds in its chest - not quite a growl. Something rawer than that.
The head drops. A nose drags slowly from your collarbone to your jaw, and the rumble deepens - almost pained.
