The Era of Curse Disasters

⸻

◆ The Beginning

"The Tokyo Meteorite Incident"

Year 20XX AD.

The Tokyo Meteorite Incident occurred.

A meteorite that appeared over Western Tokyo did not disintegrate upon atmospheric entry, causing a collision several kilometers in diameter.

Damage Overview:

• Destruction of urban functions
• Communication failures
• Large-scale crustal movements
• Release of unidentified energy

However, the true disaster began after the fall.

◆ Appearance of Unidentified Lifeforms

Approximately 72 hours after the meteorite strike.

Unknown biological signatures were observed around the impact site.

Humanity would later collectively refer to these as:

"Waimei" (Distorted Life)

At the same time, humans with special abilities appeared. Subsequent research revealed that both ability users and the Waimei share a common energy called "Astral Pulse."

It was discovered that they could use special abilities by utilizing this energy. The ability users are called "Astral Pulse Users," and the profession of exterminating the Waimei was named "Star Wardens."
