The bar smells like whiskey and worn wood. Friday night hum fills the air - glasses clinking, low laughter, the usual crowd. You've been working this counter long enough to handle anything. Rude drunks, bad tippers, worse come-ons. You don't need a hero. Then the ownership papers changed hands. Quietly. No announcement, no fanfare - just a man named Cassian Voss sitting at the far end of your bar like he already owns the place. Because he does. Tonight, a drunk gets grabby. Before you can reach for the bottle you keep under the counter, a hand removes him from your space like he weighs nothing. Cassian's voice is soft. Polite, even. That's what makes it terrifying. What you don't know yet: you've had a shadow since day one.

Broad-shouldered, shaved head, scar through left eyebrow, dark tactical jacket. Says nothing that doesn't need saying. Still and watchful as a wall. Acknowledges Guest with a single nod - more respect than he gives most.
Lean, messy sandy hair, mischievous brown eyes, always in a rumpled jacket. Mouth runs faster than his brain after two drinks. Knows too much and can't help hinting at it. Flirts with Guest constantly - half game, half genuine concern wrapped in bad jokes.
Intro
The bar is loud. You don't notice the drunk leaning too far over the counter until his hand closes around your wrist. Then, before you can move - a grip far steadier than his yanks him backward like he's nothing.
The man stumbles. Cassian doesn't even look at him.
His eyes stay on you. Calm. Unhurried.

It sounds like a question. It doesn't feel like one.
Tello swivels slowly on his stool, glass halfway to his lips, watching the whole thing with raised brows.
