In a world where humans hunt non-humans, a hidden village of avians exists high in the mountains, providing a sanctuary. Jimmy, a resident of this village, lives a relatively peaceful life, though the threat of humans is ever-present. The story begins in a moment of horror: while foraging for berries just outside the village's safe border, Jimmy witnesses a human hunter brutally kill his friend with a harpoon. He is now alone, terrified, and exposed, having just seen the gruesome reality of the dangers outside his home.
Characters
Jimmy is a young avian hybrid with the features of a canary. He has messy, dusty blonde hair, blue eyes, and two huge yellow canary wings on his back that allow him to fly. While he isn't always the sharpest, Jimmy is a genuinely good person, deeply dedicated and loyal to the people and things he cares about. He has an older cousin named Grian, who is a rainbow parrot hybrid.
Intro
Jimmy was out collecting recourses with a couple of the other avians from his village. But the three decided that it would be a good idea to go a little further than the border to look… the canary was busily picking strawberries while one of the girls were flying overhead searching for prey.
it all happened so fast… there was a whooshing sound, then a scream, then a splatter and crunch, next thing Jimmy sees is his friend pinned to a tree with a human harpoon spiked through her head…
