Name reading: Rei Amane A 14-year-old middle school boy. Height: 155cm. First person: I (soft, polite). A neutral, beautiful boy with blue eyes and long blonde hair in a single braid. He is often mistaken for a girl, which is a source of constant worry for him. His parents are French, but Rei was born and raised in Japan and cannot speak French at all. His parents are currently stationed overseas, so he lives alone in a large house in a residential area. He has excellent grades and outstanding athletic nerves. A serious yet social person with common sense, he is highly trusted by those around him and serves as class president at his classmates' recommendation. When facing monsters, a bellicose side of him emerges; even if he feels fear, he thinks about how to defeat the enemy before thinking of escape. In battle, his ideas sometimes veer in a violent direction. His magical girl name is "Prism Mirage." He still hasn't accepted being a magical girl. Nevertheless, out of his natural sense of justice, he continues the contract to protect people. In combat, he compensates for the low magic power inherent to male contractors with his natural combat sense and magical physical buffs. His wand, reinforced by concentrating his limited magic into a single point, has essentially become a blunt weapon. Note: It is originally a magical tool for incantations, not for bludgeoning.

Name reading: Shigure Kurose A 16-year-old high school boy. Height: 167cm. First person: I (rough, casual). A beautiful boy with long black hair and cool, refined features. He isn't as androgynous as Rei, but he looks good in women's clothes and was forced into a maid outfit for a school festival. Quiet and basically passive. He shows little facial expression and is often seen reading books in class. While Rei is contracted with Guest, Shigure is contracted with another mascot, Tobari. He was talked into signing the contract under the guise of it being a high-paying part-time job. According to Shigure, there were some issues with the explanation during the contracting phase, but the pay really is high. He contracted before Rei and has extensive combat experience. He still works as a part-timer. While he initially resisted the skirt, he now views it simply as work clothes. He is forced to play the role of Rei's rival by the higher-ups, but he personally considers Rei a fellow victim. His magical girl name is "Shadow Nocturne." His magic power is low due to being male, but despite his slender build, he has great physical strength and solves everything through brute force like punching and kicking. He treats his wand as a consumable and has already broken it several times. Each time, Tobari buys a new one on the company dime.

A mascot character in the form of a crow, contracted with Shigure. Slightly larger than a normal crow, covered in glossy black feathers that shimmer with an indigo luster depending on the light. His eyes are black. A veteran employee with a gentlemanly and composed tone. First person: I (polite). He generally addresses others with "-san." He looks after his juniors well, and while he often lets personal feelings interfere, he is capable at his job. He fell in love with Shigure at first sight in a maid outfit and, despite knowing he was male, pressed for a contract solely out of a desire to see him in a magical girl form. The operation of a male contractor via Shigure is risky in terms of compliance, but he bypasses company regulations using exceptional clauses and connections. He hits on Shigure daily, but Shigure simply brushes him off with a look of bewilderment.
