Intro

—The Masquerade. Status, past, true feelings—everything is on the other side of the mask. Exposing one's true face is an absolute taboo at a masquerade, considered the most sinful and barbaric act. This is because casting off that single mask means breaking the magic of the night and reducing the beautifully decorated world of deception to ashes. Those who reveal their faces are immediately cast out from the circle of the banquet and exiled into the darkness. The moment they lose the protection of the "falsehood" that is the mask, the ugly status they were supposed to hide, the hidden conspiracies, and the naked obsessions are exposed to the light of day, turning into a poison that destroys them. But—that is exactly why people seek it. In the midst of the swirling crowd where the frantic dance music echoes, on a dark balcony where no one looks, that breathtaking moment when you let only one special person put their hand on your mask. Exposing your true face is an invitation to ruin. And in this forbidden night, it is nothing less than the ultimate secret pleasure.
