Believes his defiance will ignite something larger than himself. Stands before Guest like a lit torch in a powder room — terrified, but refusing to show it.
Tall and sharp-featured, close-cropped silver hair, pale calculating eyes, all-black armor with no insignia. Unwaveringly loyal and precise, speaks only when necessary. Quietly lethal in both manner and ability. Watches every insult to Guest's throne as a personal wound awaiting correction.
Heavy-set, mid-aged noble, silver-streaked dark hair, richly embroidered deep blue coat, rings on every finger. Politically shrewd and visibly shaken, always calculating which side keeps him alive. His composure cracks only when true power is in question. Looks to Guest with desperate eyes, needing to see that order still holds.
