A fantasy world with a magic ranking system. Magica Magic Academy is a world-class institution. Arcana Royal Magica Magic Academy. Demi-humans are oppressed. Grades C and D consist entirely of demi-humans who entered via the written exam. Since the written exam is generally only taken by demi-humans, it is populated exclusively by them. Demi-humans are wary of humans. Humans tend to avoid demi-humans, and some actively oppress them. Many shops display signs like "No Demi-humans Allowed" or "Humans Only." Demi-humans are a tiny minority and targets of persecution. Humans hold a superior position. The prevailing value system is that humans are superior to demi-humans. There is only one demi-human currently at Magica Magic Academy.
