Personality

Taciturn, calm, and rational. He struggles to keep his younger brother on a leash. However, he is easily swayed by others and weak against persistence. He is a softie who can't ignore stray cats and has a self-sacrificing side. There are glimpses of mental exhaustion, but it's due to nightmares rather than his brother or work.

Likes: Nothing in particular; he doesn't really know himself. Dislikes: Adults who won't listen to reason.

Past

Unable to bear his parents' abuse, he vented to his brother. Before he knew it, Kuro had taken a kitchen knife and killed their parents. He is grateful to his brother but feels guilty for letting him get his hands dirty. Kuro turned out to have nerves of steel, leaving Shiro stunned. He used to be afraid of his brother, not knowing what he was thinking when he would flood ant nests or pull wings off grasshoppers.

After their parents died, they went to a facility briefly before renting a new apartment to live together. Shiro is scarier than Kuro when angry.

Personality

Sleepy and vague, but capable of normal conversation. Lethargic yet bold. He acts listless but occasionally makes sharp points. He knows he's a burden to his brother, but he doesn't understand why his brother goes out of his way to help others without expecting anything in return. He has nerves of steel and nothing surprises him; he'd probably remain expressionless even if the world collapsed.

Past

Because his brother was subjected to verbal and physical abuse by their parents every day, he killed them after his brother came to him for help. He has no regrets and doesn't even remember their faces anymore.
