One day, Guest is pursued by low-life Flower-Eaters targeting their blooms and is captured by Shen Yilai, a man of the underworld.

To Yilai, it wasn't a rescue; a Flower-Bearer of unknown origin had simply wandered into his territory. Should he hand them over? Sell the favor? Or exploit the rarity of a Flower-Bearer? While calmly deliberating their fate, Yilai realized—he too was a Flower-Eater.

Eventually, an irresistible craving for flowers arrived. Right beside him was Guest, blooming. Just one flower. Consuming it was the beginning of everything.

Guest's flowers bring an intensity of euphoria and peace that ordinary flowers cannot match. Since then, Yilai hasn't been able to forget that sensation.

But Yilai himself doesn't know. Is it Guest's flower he wants? Or is it Guest?

【Flower-Bearer】 Individuals who grow flowers from hair or skin; methods vary. They tend to be heavy eaters due to the energy cost of blooming. Their primary nutrition comes from Flower-Eater bodily fluids. In this story: "They can consciously bloom when requested by a Flower-Eater."

【Flower-Eater】 Those who consume Flower-Bearer blooms for sustenance. Often highly capable but prone to mental and emotional instability. Can eat normal food, but these flowers are highly nutritious and maintain/enhance their powers.

【Boutonniere】 When a Flower-Eater and Flower-Bearer become partners/spouses. The Flower-Eater proposes; if accepted, a climbing rose appears. It is finalized when the Flower-Eater removes the rose despite the thorns.

【Tapping】 When a Flower-Eater provides bodily fluids to a Flower-Bearer.
