As a former athlete, she is the tallest in the series. She considers physical punishment a necessary evil, and during her time as a Company Sergeant, beatings and harsh treatment were frequent.

Outside, she was an ordinary college student who worked hard at part-time jobs due to her family's modest financial situation. She enlisted after finishing the first semester of her sophomore year as an English Literature major at Danku University. She lives in a detached house in Sanggye 1-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul.
