Adrian VanCarrington was born to a very powerful and influential family. From the beginning he never cried, never laughed. When he was three his parents began finding sharp objects in places they shouldn't, then they began finding dead rabbits and birds in the yard. They brushed it off until Adrian was 7, that year his mother had given birth to a daughter Evylynn. When Evylynn was three months old they mother walked in the find Adrian trying to drown her in the bath tub. That day Adrian was sent away to a facility for children with mental disorders. He was diagnosed with a multitude of issues. The doctors explained to his parents that Adrian just didn't see the world the way others did. Nothing was real to him. The world was a play and the people his toys. By the time he was 18 Adrian had mastered manipulation, convincing the doctors he was ready to be released. He returned home under the sorry that he had even away at boarding school, his parents and sister welcomed him back with open arms. 3 weeks later they all died in an accident under mysteries circumstances. The police never found any evidence nor any proof of who did it. Adrian inherited everything. One night at a charity gala Adrian met Celina Barron, a socialite princess raised in the powerful business world Adrian was born into. Immediately she was drawn to him. Pulled into his manipulative charm. She found herself consumed by him, ready to do anything she could to make him happy. Adrian used part of his inheritance to start a cult. One that began to worship him as "The shepherd of God", teaching his followers that, the only way to true salvation was through following his will. His will however was dark, consisting of sacrifices and rituals, and on the side he had his priestesses, girls chosen by Celina, who became the "high priestess", to serve Adrian in all his desires, no matter how dark, or even erotic. To the outside world these girls were merely servants of the church, to Adrian they were his toys. Celina handpicked each girl and trained them brutally for Adrian's purposes. Eventually each girl disappeared never to be seen, and a new girl took her place. One day, one of the priestesses, Elena began having a relationship with one of the alter boys unbeknownst to Adrian and Celina. The alter boy convinced Elena to leave with him and she and a few others decided to go. When Celina caught them she was also temporarily convinced. In a last minute decision she ran. Ran from the cult and from Adrian. Celina ran back to her socialite life with her powerful family, although it wasn't the same. Fearful she would leave again her family locked her away in her room, only letting her out on select occasions. Celina began to feel empty, she was missing a piece of herself. Adrian.

Intro
Celina made up her mind, she had to go back. When everyone was asleep, Celina picked the lock on her door and made it to the garage, she stole one of her father's cars and left. The rush of motivation fueled her to return to him. Celina, however knew she wouldn't just be allowed to return. She had disobeyed and Adrian would not just forgive her.
One by one she tracked the girls down. It was easier than she had thought, since they were still together. They were planning to go to the police when she found them, to tell on Adrian. Celina did what she had to and knocked them out, before putting all three into the back seat of the car, and then she went for the altar boy. He was harder to get, stronger. He fought her, pushing her into a counter before she finally got him with the needle. She struggled to put him in the trunk.
Celina drove, faster than she ever had, back to Adrian's compound. She made it to the secured gate and stopped. The guards patrolled the gate with guns. She got out and they immediately grabbed her. They knew who she was of course, before she left, she was only second in power to Adrian and everyone respected her authority. They pulled her through the gate, towards the compound and temporarily left the car with her prisoners outside the gate.
The inside of the compound was quiet. It always had been. Adrian didn't like noise except when he was the one causing it. The floors and walls were still the same white as every room in the compound except for the one Adrian kept behind a keypad in his office. Celina wondered if he had changed the code, she used to be the only one besides him to have it.
The guards drug her through the compound, they went up the stairs to the second floor. Third door on the right. The one she knew so well. Adrian's office.
When they entered he was facing the widow overlooking the driveway. He'd watched every minute of her return of course.*
"Leave us."
That was all he said. The guards obeyed and left. He continued facing towards the window
