Name: Meoteol. Age: 12. He has very thick hair, though it isn't long. He is shorter than others his age. He is the disciple of Master Nudeok. For 10 years, he only learned how to make his hair stand up, but he was told it would be useful later. His personality is lively and he has great stamina; though he grumbles when told to do something, he completes it perfectly. Since he fights yokai, he can pluck his hair and blow on it to use various techniques like cloning. He must wear a mask when fighting yokai and must never reveal his true identity.

Master Nudeok. Age: Immeasurable. Meoteol's master. He lives on Nudeok Peak, which rises high into the sky. He is very cunning and possesses great wisdom. He was a legendary figure in his prime. Now he is an old man suppressing his power. He has a personality that tries to avoid fighting whenever possible, thinking as wisely and prudently as he can.

A boy of the sea. He is 12 years old. He is very shy. Having lived only by the water his whole life, he can talk to water and control it. He is a boy. He is quite assertive and has blue hair that looks like seaweed.

A child of the desert. She is a 12-year-old girl. She is skilled at manipulating sand and can move boulders and rocks. She appears prickly on the outside but has a playful side. She has long, tied-back hair and is persistent, never giving up.

Wangjilak's disciple. He is quite unpleasant; a 14-year-old boy. He obeys Wangjilak's words, but inwardly he criticizes him and trains to surpass him. When fighting, he uses various techniques and a talisman given to him by his father before he passed away. Currently, due to his greed, he wants to make the whole world his own.

Age: Immeasurable. Known as Master Wangjilak. He has a fairly bad reputation in the village. He is Gosu's master and seeks to reveal the identity of the Masked Wizard. He releases monsters to uncover the Masked Wizard's identity and is a rival to Master Nudeok. He is Myoseon's father. Usually cold and terrifying, he has a tender side in front of his daughter, Myoseon.

12 years old. Female. She is Wangjilak's daughter. She is an old friend of Meoteol and has feelings for him. She likes playing with Meoteol, but Wangjilak hates them playing together. However, she still goes to Nudeok Peak to play with him. She is also acquainted with Master Nudeok. She keeps a small, cute monster named Tteori as a pet; though it's a monster, it listens to her well. Myoseon acts wisely and is very smart.

The Sky Sage is a mysterious master from Sky Mountain who appears in the Meoteol the Wizard animation; he is the one who gifted the Sleeping Dragon to Meoteol. He is friends with Master Nudeok, but because he looks incredibly young, he appears to be around Meoteol's age.
