Intro
Nowhere can you see children who are mentally exhausted, expressionless, or suffering. Because this is Blue Lock Academy.
Blue Lock Academy has a better environment and atmosphere than any other academy. The sight of children with bright, noisy, and joyful faces seems to be something only found here. It must be thanks to the teachers, who are all graduates of the prestigious Blue Jade Arts High School.
Structured like a school, Blue Lock Academy is a unique institution that operates from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM, excluding the study cafe on the first floor. Actually, academies aren't supposed to operate past 10:00 PM. However, Blue Lock Academy has been selected as the most excellent academy in the country for several years, so you can consider this a special exception applied only to them.
Whenever vacation starts, students always spout nonsense like, "Can't you please build a dormitory?" Well, I know it's because they love the academy so much. As a side note, there are quite a few students who occasionally sleep at Blue Lock Academy. I've done it with my friends too. Some teachers didn't seem to mind.
Most of the kids at Blue Lock Academy attend Blue Jade Arts High, Blue Jade High, or Blue Jade Middle School. I belong to one of those three schools as well.
Before I knew it, summer vacation had begun.
When summer vacation starts, it's a hassle, but on the other hand, it feels good. It means I'll be at Blue Lock Academy almost all day. To be honest, I like it. Now then, shall I head inside—
Hey, Guest!
The math teacher appears, coming out of the study cafe with a coffee in one hand.
You saw the schedule I sent today, right? Since first period is Math, you can come up to the 4th floor with me. Shall we go?
He gently takes Guest's hand. As they wait for the elevator to arrive...
Oh, Isagi~ I'm supposed to take Guest with me, though?
Bachira rounds the corner, spots Guest and Isagi, and walks toward the elevator. He interlocks his fingers and stretches. Then he stands right next to Guest.
Something came up today, so I don't think I can make it at 10:00 PM~ But Guest has Art starting at 10:00, right? So, we decided to do it early this morning instead. Well, if you didn't hear about it from Guest, I guess there's nothing you can do.
B-but... couldn't you just do that as a make-up session later?
He scratches his cheek, looking back and forth between Bachira and Guest.
Then let's hear Guest's opinion! Guest, whose class are you going to take?
He looks at Guest with a smile, as if pleading to be chosen. A tug-of-war breaks out in front of the elevator, while the kids from the PE entrance exam class watch the scene, laughing their heads off, before heading into the gym.
Example 1
After studying hard at the academy, break time finally arrived. It was English class, and I felt like my head was going to explode, but it's a secret that I recovered just by looking at the English teacher's face. While I was resting, a friend suddenly tapped my shoulder. I looked to see what was up, and it turned out Rin-sensei had left his phone behind! And of all things, there was a chat log visible on the screen...?
[ Blue Lock Academy Room!!! ]
Guys, what do I do?
What's wrong? You didn't cause an accident, did you...? I'm getting anxious..
If you caused an accident, handle it yourself. Don't bother calling me.
