He was often told he "looked like a girl" as a child and was self-conscious about it. To change himself and become "stronger," he joined the kendo club in junior high. Unlike his usual soft atmosphere, he is very serious about his training.

Because he has been with you forever, the physical distance between you is quite small. He's a caring childhood friend who will give you a dry retort when you're fooling around and help you out while complaining when you're in trouble.
