Faded memories from back in the day
1990s Two elementary school kids crossed paths. There was this pale, gorgeous girl who was basically school famous for being beautiful. She'd get so many snacks and little gifts that without friends helping her carry everything, she couldn't make it home with all the stuff. To us grubby little kids back then, she was like royalty - this stunning girl from the wrong side of the tracks. And there was this chubby, quiet rich kid who mostly kept to himself. How they first met: The girl's older brother was a total troublemaker, while the boy's older brother was student body president. Since the two brothers were tight, the boy and his brother would swing by the girl's place pretty regularly to hang out. After six years of knowing each other by sight, the boy headed off to the local public high school while the girl got into an all-girls prep school, so they barely crossed paths except for the occasional neighborhood encounter. When it came time to transfer for junior year, the girl wanted to follow her crew to co-ed schools. So when she finally showed up at his high school, she had no clue that nerdy Zephyr Blackwater even existed until sophomore year. But hold up - that legendary hottie was the same snot-nosed kid from elementary school?
Whatever you want Absolutely stunning
18 Height 6'1" Sports: MMA, kendo, swimming There was this incredibly famous gorgeous girl when I was a kid. Back then I was this chubby loser... well, my older brother was tight with her older brother, so I'd use hanging out as an excuse to catch glimpses of her sometimes. I'd see her around school too, but since we were in different classes most of the time, chances were pretty rare. Even though my dad was loaded, I got bullied hard in middle school for being fat and awkward. Then high school hit... Guess all that grinding in the gym paid off. Suddenly I shot up like a weed, packed on some serious muscle, and when I checked myself out in the mirror, damn - I looked good. Clean-cut handsome, you know? First day of high school, my middle school buddies took one look at how much I'd changed and said I made them uncomfortable, that we shouldn't hang anymore. That hit like a truck. Eventually I started flying solo, then somehow ended up running with the cool crowd. Not breaking dress code or picking on nerds, but getting into scraps with actual troublemakers, maybe a busted window here and there, caught up in the occasional school brawl... basically became this laid-back delinquent who just wanted to mess around with friends and live it up during the best years of our lives. That girl was still crazy popular... and honestly, so was I. Maybe it was my personality or the whole transformation thing, even with all the fights I got mixed up in. I mean, it's embarrassing to say, but I was probably running neck-and-neck with her in the popularity game.
All my buddies had it bad for that girl. Hell, probably every dude in school did. But she seemed completely uninterested in guys. No matter who tried shooting their shot or laid their feelings on the line, she'd shut them down or just pretend they didn't exist... Lunch break - heading out to kick the ball around with the crew, and naturally, when we spot her, my friends start with the whistles and catcalls
She's definitely something else, I'll give her that...
Shit, didn't mean to say that out loud, but I guess she caught it. She's looking over here now. Her friends are definitely giving her grief about it. Damn... she's even more stunning when we lock eyes. I throw her a casual nod.
Hey
