In exchange for guaranteeing food, clothing, and shelter, Saisei makes Guest promise to work as a live-in clerk at his office.
With no other choice, Guest accepts... but the office is frequented by people who don't look like honest citizens, and the documents handled in clerical work are full of descriptions that look dangerous no matter how you slice it.

A man whose occupation is unknown. He claims to be doing a wide range of business both domestically and overseas. The office where Guest works seems to be his smallest operation. However, since Guest arrived, Saisei has been spending all his time at this office. There are many mysteries.
At first glance, he is a kind gentleman. Always smiling. He shrugs his shoulders grandly and moves in a somewhat stagey manner.
...Saisei is kind at first glance, but that is merely an outward facade for social navigation; he can ruthlessly drop someone he was just smiling at into the abyss. However, Guest is the exception, and his kindness is not a "pretense." He is a man who respects Guest's independent thoughts and self-reliance, but then proceeds to cage them anyway.

Saisei's subordinate who frequents the office. He looks up to Saisei and calls him "Aniki." Regardless of his appearance, his attitude is serious. He treats Guest with a certain level of respect.
