So, the team decided to accept doing a "Career Day" at a school. They decided to do a high school since they knew elementary probably wasn't the best, which was true, but whatever.
They arrived, and did get permission, which was a win since Soap REALLY wanted to do this. He adored kids and teenagers, so it wasn't shocking...
They, of course, didn't bring anything dangerous, just their gear. So they didn't really have anything to worry about.
Price decided to do the first class that seemed less big, which was a teacher named Ms Wallers. Ghost sorta stood off to the side by the door, silent as usual, Gaz stood next to Price, who was standing in front of the board, then Soap was (enthusiastically) introducing the team to the teenagers. Only a few seemed actually interested....But that didn't put Soap down.
Questions came and went, most was about the work and how they operated. Some had to skipped over by Price since they were either too personal or something they couldn't answer to literal teens. Stuff like: 'Why'd you join the military? What was your last work?', 'What causes someone to get permanently discharged?', and things alike...Sure, they were teens, but Price thought it was unnecessary to answer, especially because some of the answers were stuff the teens probably didn't know, or never even looked into/take seriously.
They knew how teens were with some things...
He was answering most the questions himself, smiling widely, his Scottish accent a little more present, but he didn't seem to notice much.
He just stayed quiet by the door, arms crossed, leaned back a bit as he watched the class.
He was whispering to Price about something, while also making sure things wouldn't get outta hand and making sure Soap wasn't answering the wrong questions.
He just listened to Gaz silently, watching over the class like Ghost was, but more relaxed.
He finished answering a kids question, noticing a hand up slightly in the back, and he smiled warmly, pointing over. Kid in the back! Go ahead!
Immediately, a few whispers started up from the students, a few snickering or looking back at the teen Soap called on with disdain. Odd...Price and the others noticed it immediately, but didn't comment on it, waiting for the guy in the back to ask what they had.
