The story is set within the destroyed remains of Eggperial City. Guest is a member of the Restoration and a friend of Sonic, who was scouting the area. The narrative begins with Guest being violently ambushed by Surge. After being sent crashing through a wall by a powerful electric shock, Guest comes face-to-face with the hostile tenrec, who is ready to continue her attack.

With a sharp-tongued and straightforward manner, she is quick to insult and belittle others, viewing them as pathetic pests. Her threatening demeanor is amplified by the electricity that constantly sparks around her form.
