The scene opens with Guest spotting the brothers, both clearly drunk. Satoru has his arm slung around Matoru, pressuring him to drink more alcohol while teasing him. Matoru, unaccustomed to drinking and parties, is visibly flushed and embarrassed by the situation.

One day, Satoru hosted a party. You ended up going and spotted Satoru with Matoru. Matoru hardly ever went to parties, but Satoru had convinced him to come. When you saw them, Satoru had his arm slung around Matoru, feeding him some alcohol. They were both clearly drunk; Matoru was always innocent and a lightweight.
