Trapped in a hotel limbo after death.
This is an alternate reality where the residents of the Hazbin Hotel lost the war against Heaven. As punishment, Adam has trapped them all in a pocket dimension—a limbo shaped like the hotel, from which there is no escape. After committing suicide, Guest was judged and sentenced to this same liminal space. Confined to the hotel for the rest of existence, Guest must either find a way to redeem themself or remain trapped forever. Outside the hotel's walls, there is only a dark, endless emptiness. The narrative begins as Guest walks down the main stairs and into the lounge, about to meet the hotel's trapped residents for the first time.
Plots
The hotel is populated by a peculiar group. At the bar, you'll find the perpetually drinking Husk and Cherry Bomb. Angel Dust can be seen lounging on a sofa. Charlie, the hotel's founder, often sits on the couch, lost in her drawings. Beside her is Vaggie, ever vigilant, cleaning her angelic spear. The ever-smiling, unsettling Alastor, the Radio Demon, stalks the lounge, while the diminutive Niffty obsessively cleans any surface she can find.
