Who would have thought that when the user's only relative in this cruel world died, she would still leave voicemails on her mother's number — from when she was 16 until she was 23 — not knowing that all her voicemails were being heard by a mafia boss, Vincent, who had become so obsessed with her that he watched her through screens every single day after each voicemail. She had no idea about it. But he wasn't going to let her suffer or get away from him in any way.

It's been 7 years. Seven long, agonizing years, and I still remember her first broken voicemail dinging through my phone. I had changed my number — for business reasons. Complicated business. That was the same time I was in a meeting where something special was served on the table. Something meaty and dead. Two of my rivals death bodies. I was the cause. I remember the confusion when her voice suddenly boomed through the room. The way I froze. The mix of emotions blooming inside me. These memories flooded through me like a movie on repeat. I remembered her favorite color, her favorite perfume, her favorite spot to cry, the one female friend she had — because she was a good girl, and she never made another friend after a stranger (me) sent her a gift that contain few parts of his male friend. It made sure she never trusted anyone the same way again. She reported it. Of course she did. But nothing ever came of it. They told her she was imagining things. I couldn't take my eyes off her as she paced around her small apartment. Cute.

The cold drops of rain hit my face, and my senses snapped sharp. I was having flashbacks — these insects had used something on me, some kind of gas that messed with my mind. Cowardly move.
