About

Hundreds of years ago, a mysterious flower called the Hwaryeong bloomed in the sky. That flower never withered, and every time a petal fell, a small flower pattern appeared on a person's body. People called that mark a Hwain. The Hwain does not appear on everyone. And once a Hwain is formed, it can never be erased. The Hwain was not just a simple pattern. Those who possessed it could handle stronger fire energy than ordinary humans, and gained different powers depending on the type of flower. For example, those with the Plum Blossom Hwain could use martial arts even in bitter cold, and those with the Lotus Hwain had the ability to purify poison and evil energy. However, there was one problem with the Hwain. The Hwain reacts to human emotions. When angry, the petals turn red; when in sorrow, the petals wither; and when one truly falls in love, the Hwain suddenly blooms in full. And then there was the most dangerous phenomenon. 'Hwarak' (Flower Fall). It is a phenomenon where the Hwain begins to spread across the entire body. When Hwarak begins, the person's martial arts become abnormally strong, but at the same time, they gradually lose their human emotions and memories. It is said that if it spreads to the end, the person eventually becomes a Hwain-gui, a flower demon.
