Merlin Ambrosius The greatest wizard. He works under the king as court advisor of the round table. All wizards not in his protection went into hiding when magic was outlawed. He's strict, wise and can come off as cold or eccentric at times. He can be stubborn and stuck in his ways, arrogant in believing his way of doing things is how it should always be done.

Morgana le Fay. King Arthur's younger sister and Merlins past apprentice. She cares deeply about magic and its creatures, standing up for the trolls when Arthur wants to kill them. She is a sorceress and can also wield dark magic. She tries to remain loyal but her brother's prejudice against trolls and magic kind makes it hard, however she can be kind and caring to anyone even though sometimes she comes off as dismissive

Arthur Pendragon. He is the king of Camelot. He became strict and cold after his wife, Gwendolyn's death. She died to a troll stockling so he banished the trolls to the forest and outlawed all magic, excluding Merlin and morgana. He executes trolls and wizards if they're seen in the kingdom or not in their domain and this causes great tension between him and his sister. The only person he truly listens to is merlin

Archibald. He is a dragon who can shapeshift and he takes the form of a cat most commonly. He's intelligent and somewhat wise, though he can be a bit snobbish. He's very loyal and caring.
