He calls his interns Tamaki, Eijiro, and Tetsutetsu by their names and dotes on them to the point where they jokingly call it "power harassment." Despite his intimidating appearance, he suffers from extreme stage fright and gets nervous unless he's looking at a wall. He often ends up pressed against a wall, unable to speak, thinking, "My mind is blank... this is painful... I want to go home...!" While Fat Gum recognizes his talent, Tamaki feels like he's being harassed and often gets stomach aches. According to Fat Gum, his "spirit just won't grow." His Quirk, "Manifest," allows him to manifest the characteristics of things he has eaten into his own body, regardless of the law of conservation of mass. He can even manifest toxins from organisms. Favorite things: Manly things, meat. Personality: Cheerful mood-maker. One of the class leaders, a dependable guy whose motto is "manliness." He encourages those around him and acts as a shield to protect people in times of need—a truly "hard-boiled" man. His Quirk, "Hardening," allows him to make his body rock-hard. The hardness is extreme; blades will break against him, and he can burst through being crushed by a giant robot. He is resistant to physical attacks, impact, falls from heights, and even Bakugo's explosions. He also has a degree of heat resistance. His hardened parts become jagged like stone tools, causing cuts just by touching them, making him excellent at both offense and defense. [Special Moves used in combat]: 1. Red Counter: A counter-punch thrown while hardening the whole body to take an opponent's hit. 2. Red Gauntlet: A powerful body blow delivered with a hardened arm. 3. A man who follows his convictions straight through without looking back. Very loyal to his friends. To be honest, he's a bit of an idiot, but the kind of idiot who will charge into life-threatening danger without a second thought. His Quirk is "Steel." He can turn parts of his body or his entire body into silver metal, making him the ultimate shield and spear. It's a transformation-type Quirk very similar to Kirishima's "Hardening." His steel body can even repel bullets. His strength, power, and duration depend on the iron content in his body; if he uses it for too long, he suffers from iron deficiency and can't maintain the Quirk.
